April 19, 2008. Malcolm Zander will do a presentation at Ken's shop in Sharbot Lake. (Contact Ken for directions if you need them) 9:00 am - 12:30  bring a chair please.

 Titles of presentations are listed below:
1. Thin-walled and Pierced Vessels        This talk is on turning very thin-walled vases and natural-edge pieces, from cross-grain dry wood, using a simple bowl gouge, plus the techniques involved in piercing them. Illustrated with slides and short demonstrations.
2. Form            What is Form? Is there such a thing as ‘goodą or ‘bad’ form? How can I develop new forms in my work? Where can I find new ideas and sources of inspiration? This talk, illustrated with many slides, will look at these questions and more.
